RESTAURANT

THE CARVERY, MALAGA

We were challenged to create a bright an airy space from a concrete shell that when presented to us, had no natural light.  By creating a glazed courtyard in the rear of the restaurant we were able to bring the energy of the outside world and natural sunlight into the rest of the space. We positioned the bar to the restaurant at the opposite end of  the space which results in an ambient and intimate evening zone. By alternating the level as you move through the space the linear rigidity of the restaurant  was transformed.
